I joined in 1975, Army Apprentice College Arborfield as an apprentice vehicle mechanic at 16. I did 22 years and I can honestly say that it set me up for life.

@@chloegb2682 you’ll be in the REME so you will go to lyneham, not sure for how long but from what I’ve heard about it, it’s an amazing course 👍

im 15, how old do I have to be to start training for the reme

You can go to harrogate when your 16, im 17 and am waiting to go for an assesment but i was told that there are not many spaces left at harrogate this year and im too old for harrogate now anyway

@@thomasrochester5783 going in march for the guards limited slots on so many spots due to corona so unfortunate @BL.morgxn you can start your application at 15.5 go in at 16 you take the short course at Harrogate and do 34 weeks i believe
