Let the bawlin' begin. We haul the cows several miles away, to winter pasture. They seem to calm down fairly quickly. We usually keep a couple gentle, old, dry cows around to help settle the weaners. Those dry cows stay with the calves until we ship. They'll take them to water and mineral and lead the way when we gather.

That was country and western. At moments some of that stock is like sorting firecrackers

I might rethink the whiter stock. They tend to have more eye and skin problems out in the sun.
