that’s awesome! I love the lane pants I think it’s a good base and it already comes fitting the way I like, I don’t have to make too many changes. I also really like the Piper top by sewing with solana. I like a lot of her patterns, she has the scarf top, the Alicia blouse, and some dresses love but haven’t gotten around to making. I’m starting to get on Etsy to look for other patterns too :)

It’s a sewing pattern by sewing with solana! It’s called the Piper top. She has a sewing tutorial on YT for this top :)

The pattern required 10 pieces total because it’s lined. So 4 front pieces and 4 side pieces (2 of each for the inside and 2 for the outside - 8 pieces total ) and 2 pieces for the back - 1 for inside 1 for outside (making that 10) After I took the top apart I used the back of the top to make the side pieces and the ties. I don’t show that step in the video but you can see the outside of the top when my cat is sits on it :) I show the inside of the top and the outside, then attach them at the armholes. Hope that makes sense and you’ll be able to see if you watch it through again!

And they were big because they were a XL and I wear a S so I had to take the shorts so they’d fit correctly :)

They’re to big for her bc the size is just to big, but that doesn’t mean there’s a lot of fabric bc as you can see. It’s a small top and a short short so she didn’t have enough fabric to work with
