Another wonderful video. I'm sorry it has taken me so long to try to catch up with your calendar. More great lessons! I didn't know how popular ginger cookies and ginger bread men were/are. I keep ginger gummies on hand in case of nausea and I love it with sushi. And fresh ginger makes a great hot tea. But, I hadn't realized it was a favorite treat and dessert. Thank you for making me smarter, and hungrier. 😆❤

I didn't know that Johnny Carson started that theory that there is only really one fruitcake being passed around, but sounded true to us. The most re-gifted Christmas present ever. It's almost like a game of musical chairs. When the music stops, one who ends up with the fruitcake loses? 🤣 Thanks for my latest history lesson! And another wonderful video! Panettone is at least palatable when toasted and buttered. 👍🏻

Can you imagine, singing and dining with people and then shooting to try to kill them? Very bad manners for hosts and/or guests. 😂 Humans (especially the male of the species) are so insane. War is insane. Such a waste of life for what? Greed? Power? 🤪Thank you for another wonderful history lesson, girls. Your one mistake was saying that Hitler had a heart. There is no proof of that. 😝

We are perpetually missing spoons. Idk where they go. They are simply gone. Including measuring spoons and wooden spoons. We have decided that the notorious husvaettir known as "spoon-licker" has taken them all to his Smog-like hoard in the mountains.

Love it! Thanks for confirming Santa's existence. 🎅🏼Life would be dreary without him. And now in keeping with the theme, I have to go watch Hallmark's "The Santa Class." Hallmark has never heard of enough is enough. 🤗 Three Christmas movies a week for at least a month or six weeks before Christmas and then Christmas in July, too. 😂 They do know how to milk a good thing, like Coca Cola with Santa Claus. Life might be dreary without Hallmark movies, too. 😆Last night they mixed it up a bit with a Hanukkah movie, as it coincides with Christmas this year. 🕎Cheers to your wonderful work with your Advent Calendar and for keeping up our spirits! Too bad I don't have some of your eggnog or hot chocolate for the movie. 🥂

I love greeting cards! I used to collect them. Then I began designing them, until Adobe got greedy and ruined my Photoshop biz. 🧐🤣Your video again has history I never knew before. Your grandmother used to string all the Christmas cards they received around the house. Talk about too many friends. It added to the festiveness of her Christmas decorations. It surprised me to see a pic of my mom pop up in your video. 😵💫 She loved the holidays! Maybe because it was so close to her birthday, she grew up thinking all the fuss was for her. 😂
@verityhouseinspired9184Ай бұрын
@@sandychilds3758 I remember the cards strung up and forever. I just thought that's what everyone does with their Christmas cards!🤣 Grandma was quite something...I always wished I had her ability to remember everyone's special days and get cards out that arrived before whatever day it was! Thank you! I love snow globes. Interesting backstory on them that I did not know. You are such a good researcher and teacher. You're right. That was a delicious little video. Makes me want to watch Juliette Binoche's and Johnny Depp's Chocolat again. Loving chocolate should be enough to get everyone fighting global climate change/warming and deforestation if nothing else does. Chocolate could be extinct by 2050 if we don't come up with better plans. Thank God I'll be dead by then. A world without chocolate? Impossible. That would be hell. 😝

Correction: George Washington's parties, would have only have been talked about for a "couple of centuries" and not "couple hundred" centuries, as I mistakenly said in the video... That WOULD have made them epic parties, indeed... if time travel had been involved!😂

you wrapped the first antenna "clockwise" from the bottom and then the second one "clockwise" from the top, they aren't the same direction. it also does not matter which direction you wind the coil, as far as i can tell. if you're interested in the science i'd recommend being a little more rigorous with testing- maybe the direction does matter, but for most magnetic applications it does not. try setting up 3 different plants, one with the wire wrapped in one direction, one the other direction, and one with no antenna at all. then give each one the exact same treatment and record the results
