Want to save your dads house, sell the bus, properly turn the steering wheel, up to the governor to upshift or downshift, shift points are colored marked on the speedo. named The Crusader, reading the service manual will clarify any misunderstandings, and there a lot. Real nice 9.

All you need to know is: It's Harbor Freight. Therefore it's made in China. Therefore it is JUNK.

I drive 2017 MCI D models on the job. Would love a crack at an MC-8/MC-9 era bus, especially with manual. Thank you for posting!

We have three of this model scattered from Michigan to Florida. Glad to see it was an easy fix. Could you kindly pass along the Harbor freight part numbers for the parts that you used?

The manual transmissions were NOT fun to drive in bumper to bumper rush hour traffic in a city like Chicago. These buses are meant to be stretched out on the road

Hey! I’m trying to track down some old recordings from the 50’s when this station was WEAB, any chance you’d know where I should start the search? Thanks!

Nice bus...But...why would you run with that rear V belt so loose...that thing was flopping around...ready to come off...
@majorseventh26992 ай бұрын
Air may not have been up yet, air actuator should tighten up the belts with full air, may need adjusting, certainly very important, owner is not a bus mechanic.

I bought my 8750 in 2016 during their sidewalk sale for $200. Battery and wheel kit make it easy to move and start. It has never let me down.

That engine sounds slightly sick. I have owned and driven a number of these. Get it right to the governor instead of letting it plateau and you won’t lose so much speed with shifting. I echo the other commenters RE running it so fast before it’s fully aired up. Be glad it doesn’t still have the four-speed in it my God, those are the heaviest clutches I’ve ever ever met in my life.!

nice comparison. I was hoping for a CR1604 vs a CR1604VLZ. But this is cool, too. But, I thought we were going to HEAR the differences. 😂

Hi George. Yes, that repair was so simple a child could do it. Now would be a great time to do maintenance on that engine.

Big difference between the sounds of these mixers: You can get tons of awesome grit from the old 1604. And the grit sounds good on drums. The newer stuff is clean and the distortion sounds crappy.
