I agree with @chavasan, The car really needs a flattop, port patched to that throttle body, and it would easily crack that 400. Great build, love your car and love following along!

Yep, totally agree! Unfortunately the head is the older BP05 found on the 1.8 NA’s, but a BP4W head and a square top would definitely make what we want…. :)

I epoxied my throttle screws on a past motor and still injested the screws. Skunk2 TBs are finky at times, but the most reliable solution, if you don't overclock the return spring

Really enjoying the build. A square top or a skunk2 manifold might get you to 400. Looking forward to the next video.

That’s the “Perfect Tuning” CAN gauge for MS3. I’m not sure if it’s still in production, but aside from the Conic Sans font, it’s perfect!

Have an nb that's been sitting in my driveway for 2 years that I got running recently and it's leaking coolent but seems to be losing more than is dripping out so I may need to do a head gasket myself

How long have you been using the Kraken Manifold? Any issues such has warping or cracking? Has it ever been pulled from the motor for inspection? Asking because I am looking for a replacement manifold. Thanks!

I’ve had it on the car for about three years now. I actually just pulled it off for unrelated maintenance, and the years of track abuse and heat cycling caused the head flange to shrink slightly, but it’s something a bigger drill bit on the bolt holes was able to fix! But, none of the flanges were warped or cracked. I’m honestly very impressed with how well the manifold has held up!
