@@MRIMan quick question in regards to Casa Loma, I'm in the process of applying and have submitted my HS Diploma and filled out all the applications, all I need is the resume and essay. I was wondering how detailed were your entrance essay and resume, where they full of detail or pretty basic in your opinion. I would have never thought of going into MRI, but thanks to stumbling on your channel you opened my mind to the possibilities that MRI has to offer. For that I'm very thankful and grateful MRI man.

This is the most informational MRI video I've seen so far, so thank you for this. For me, most helpful is hearing about what set backs can happen with patients or even equipment and how to address them, and how to plan your slices/alignment/parameters. Question: If you were just getting out of school/externship and looking for a job, what advice can you share in terms of what type of work environment/standards/pay/red flags to look out for?

I really considered in going to trade school for MRI tech thanks for the inspiration I’m getting tired of my job I feel like I really need a change in career (I do maintenance in a high rise building by Central Park NYC “billionaires road” I feel like I can’t evolve in this job besides being a residential manager which I don’t want to be it’s a huge headache and responsibilities!) I’ll give you an update when I started the trade school have a great day man 🫡

Hey man! Junior in hs and looking for a field for my career. Stumbled across Rad tech a couple days ago and have been looking into it! When you say prerequisites and then 2 years of schooling. Are the prerequisites high school or college? I’ve already heard and looked up the ARRT testing etc. Don’t want to go into a career field that i’m getting myself in over my head on 😂😂 great vid 🙏

Would you say MRI is less hard on the body than X-ray. I’m at an orthopedic clinic right now where we do 40-60 X-rays and it is so physically and mentally exhausted that I can’t do much after work which sucks because I’m usually a very active dude. I’ve been wanting to switch to MRI for a couple years, but want to make sure that I’m making a positive career switch.

Where'd you go to school? I've completed my admissions paperwork for CLC, but I never got an acceptance letter. I'm guessing that will come later or maybe they just don't do them. October start and graduate September 27 2026. As I'm typing this, holy shit I'm 45. You just said it. I'm that guy! I got this. I follow MRI Man! That, and I got A&P books and I'm gonna master that shiz before class starts.

Not sure if you've covered this in any videos yet but I'm wondering how physical it is to be an MRI tech? I've been interested in being an MRI tech for awhile but I have herniated discs on my back (S1-L5 / L4-L5) , I don't want to get through the program and realize I can't do the job.

It could definitely be physically demanding. But it's not like you're doing heavy lifting consistently.

A picture of a hip replacement joint has a banned 🚫 on it. That why I can't get a MRI done. Hip was replacement was in November 10, 1998. Had to problem with my hip but now I been told not MRI scan no more.
