Own a generation 3i GAMO "Bone Collector" and very nice rifle. I own another older generation 1 GAMO Whisper Swarm and use these for keeping fields clear of pests and such around my home for the farmers and running off crows and such that eat crops. Nice rifle, I like it a lot the "Bone Collector" using various pellets in .22 caliber.

Good day Angie. Thanks for your wonderful review of this awesome replica. Agree with you that they should have included a mock magazine, just to make it look more the part. I solved that by 3d printing a replica M1A magazine I found in Thingiverse. I then measured and carved the underside of the wood stock where the mag would be located, installed the 3d printed base plate to which the mag will click into position. The mag does not interfere with the lever. Now my M1A looks the part. Thanks again for your wonderful reviews. God bless.

I really enjoy your reviews. But why are they called "GRiP" reviews? Is GRiP an acronym?
@THEGatewayToAirgunsКүн бұрын
Hey there... the GRiP videos, which will be in-depth reviews, stand for GTA Review Program. Cheers Rick

Worth considering with the design of straight comb rifles. A. the scope is sky high and canting is an issue. B. They are awkward to shoot in the field, imo. Just saying shoot a conventional rifle with a drop in the comb like an Avenge-X classic and then a bullpup side by side and make sure a straight stock bullpup is for you.

Got me a Hunter Extreme Pro .22. Unfortunately, haven’t been able to put more than 50 or so rounds through it. First springer. Learning curve a bit steep. Love the gun still. Thanks for your videos.

Do you dislike Umarex?
@edmusick779414 сағат бұрын
@heithwatkins I own many Umarex products and find them well made, easy to shoot accurately for the most part. That said, airgun influencers, the people demonstrating airguns on KZbin, have, in my opinion, been bought off by the major manufacturers of airguns. It's difficult to find anyone not putting out biased reviews now. It wasn't this way even a few short years ago.

Traditional old fashioned dome pellets been putting down vermin for many, many years. Accuracy for shot placement definitely #1, hunting pellets imho are just a marketing thing to exploit a perceived "hole in the market" but still, I'm sure there are those who swear by them and are willing to pay the extra $ for the privilege of using them.

Thanks for sharing Rick! From what I've seen so far in other reviews and videos you can make any premium quality pellet shot very well by tuning for it! Even the light weight 14.3g Benjamin precision pellets. Definitely excellent hunting quality all day! This air rifle costs 1/3 to 1/4 of the big name offering and has about 9/10 the accuracy. Long term quality will only be seen over time! The new sound track is awesome too! Great job!

Yup. Surely wanna see more! This rifle is awesome! Dunno if Snowpeak M60 did as well, but tgis one surely is built/tuned up there to be great. Definitely would want one.

Hello, I hope you are doing well! Thank you for creating this type of content; it is greatly appreciated. When it comes to hunting with air rifles, my focus is on ensuring a humane and ethical experience. For me, it is not just about using specific pellets like the Hades or Poly Mags, but rather choosing a rifle and pellet combination that delivers accurate and sufficient foot-pounds of energy to effectively and humanely take down the intended animal.

the reasoning is the 500mm and down is a pellet barrel not to shoot slugs and the 600mm up is a slug barrel and you can but not recommended for pellets I have this gun in .25 and 600mm barrel and it slings the nsa and fx slugs like a boss. I converted it to front bottle and folding AR stock! Beautiful piece of kit!

Don't put it at 3,000. Run mine in the 2400-1600 range. Shoots best at 1800 if I remember. Think it's at like 725 w/15.89 Hades. Don't remember, just hangs by the door in case I have to shoot a critter 😂

OK I got my Airacuda .22 and (hand pump) . Save $80 bucks and spend it on a compressor . I pumped it up to 2200psi with the hand pump and I'm 70 years old and was starting to wonder if I would make 71 . Man what an endurance test , but I just had to hear it shoot and it did but I have 5 scuba tanks and will wait till the scuba adapter gets here to began siting it in. I can see now a good compressor is next on my list . Pretty nice rifle for $320 and the pump is well made but a heck of a lot of work .
