It's filled with clichés about French society. The use of symbols (oh my god the oyster/pasta thing, ok we get it Abdel...) and butts, butts, are less subtle than a Michael Bay movie. It's pretentious. Of course there is THE sex scene, which is a good male gaze wanker material...if you're watching a porn. Here it's just too much. Pervert director Abdellatif Kechiche was having a laugh in 2013. He has managed to pull the wool very firmly over the eyes of many viewers by playing out the fixations and desires of his own mid-life crisis on-screen and couching it as an arty coming of age story. There’s even a scene where a rather pretentious man opines to a captive female audience on the subject of men envying female sexuality, and a character, sympathetic and even a little flirtatious with Adèle, who is a bit-part actor of North African heritage - very much like our director. Kechiche could just as easily have put up a huge sign saying “Try Women, Choose Me(n)” and I would have taken the same message from the film. Directorial self-indulgence. Shame on you Spielberg, at least you lobbied for Sorrentino at the 2014 Oscars..

2018 y yo apenas acabo de ver la película "La vida de Adele", y la vi porque estaba haciendo ejercicio, y cuándo hago ejercicio pongo música, entonces por casualidad escuché la canción de "I follow rivers" y la empecé a escuchar mil veces, pero me llamó la atención el video ya que pasaban cortos de la película, yo pensaba que solamente era una canción con un video bien hecho, entonces me llamó la atención y me puse a investigar y así fue cómo di con la película, también quiero resaltar que no era muy asiduo a ver películas, pero apenas me di a la tarea de ver buenas películas, ya que ver películas bien hechas hace que te cultives y que mejore tu libre albedrío, peeero cuándo vi que la película duraba 3 horas dije: ¡puta madre es mucho tiempo, seguramente me va a aburrir!, pero que bueno que no decline ya que vi una película hermosa y con unas actuaciones fenomenales dignas de cualquier película erudita, ¡aparte que hermosa es Adele, me encanta su sonrisa, su sonrisa creo yo que es igual cómo la sonrisa de el Guason cuándo lo protagonizó Jack Nicholson, no sé si alguien piense lo mismo! Por cierto, ahorita que me dado a la tarea de ver buenas películas, pues por sí no las han visto les recomiendo ver "El discurso del rey", "Amigos intocables" y "Siempre a tu lado". Saludos y chido. ✌
