Thanks for the comment Barmy, Its not the easiest water in France but its specimen carp fishing in gin clear water and you can expect to catch a fish a day as long as you use the right tackle for clear water. I have had some people write a lot of cr-p on here so have a look at someone else who done a vid search callum carpquarry on youtube

Doesnt look to bad a venue and assuming obviously that everything is honest and legit in regards to the catch reports that are given out for this place then they also seem to be pretty good really. Anyway great stuff, video gives a good view of the lake and its surroundings so who knows I might even decide to come check it out in person one day soon, perhaps after just a little more in depth investigating! :o)

The water is crystal clear so the most important thing is to use flourocarbon line and hook links with slack lines, keep it simple, a baitboat is very handy

@smitdog79 What a load of old crap you are talking you have never been to Carpquarry and if you had you would know that it is very rare to catch anything under 23lb and the ave fish is 32lb. By the way being I own one of the best small carp lakes in France I dont have to talk out my ass like you

If I tightened up more the fish in here will just snap you, I have had many guys come and get snapped when the fish bolt even with 20lb plus line. They fight like hell here

The carp at Carpquarry are great fun very hard fighting must be something to do with the deep water, most anglers that have been here say they have never before had carp fight so hard

One of the main reasons is that the weather is warmer for longer period in a year so the fish keep feeding longer than in the UK also most of us lake owners spend alot of money on feeding are fish when nobody is fishing the lake plus the strain of carp we stock are very fast growing and in the right conditions could be at 50lb before they are 8 years old.
