Wicked video as always! I've been tweaking and testing with the Scotty gimbal and my bike set up and testing different positions to eliminate the vibe made a massive difference - I now have a spot that's wicked, then taking the vibe out of the road... basically impossible, have to keep the speed at sub 40mph, but with a good rider who knows what they're doing and ND filters you can fake it so it looks like you're doing 100mph.

Aren't you better off just using the DJI ronin app on the iPad? That way you can use active track wirelessly and stop and record in the car without adjusting. There's may be an option to control the zoom lens through the app.

Hey, i also have the Razor Arm. I added a bit of weight to the arm itself to eliminate the microjiters :) Works really good even on bad roads

Love the setup! I actually built my own car rig for my RS2, and it works great, and I'd say comparable to the Mov max. I also shoot with a Sony a7iv but with a Tamron 28-75. I attach the follow focus and have it mounted on the zoom ring on the lens. I use the DJI raven (for now) and have it connected to my camera and use the display to change camera settings and remotely zoom in and out from inside the car. in my more professional setup, I have a 3-meter HDMI camera running into my car (can't afford a DJI SDR transmitter just yet) and that's connected to my shinobi monitor. I use the Xbox controller to pan and tilt and have the (A) button set to stop and start recording. And I can switch from the controller screen on the ronin app to the camera controller screen and still remotely zoom in and out. It works great for me right now but plan on buying an actual arm at some point. If you want, you can check out Week 3 vlog on my KZbin and skip to 12:38. It shows my current setup! Sick video as per usual. Quick advice: Get the Portkeys LH5P II Monitor. It's brighter, and cheaper than the Shinobi, and it still connects to Sony cameras via wifi so you can control the settings on the fly and start n stop rolling from the screen.

Sony ZV-E10 it's a great camera to start out, and if you can find a good condition used one should run about 800-900$

Hi @JayJankulovski I would recommend using a ipad with the monitor&control app so you can change everything on the camera from iso to af n mf and iris yea i mean everything, and you can activate the inbuild activtrack focus from the sony camera so you will never lose focus to your subject. I would give it a try

I wouldn’t regret it man, idk if anything can beat the ease of use and efficiency of the dji osmo setup. I’ll see myself using that more often to be honest 🤣
