I'm so glad I was able to watch this celebration of Jeremy's life, many thanks. I shared a house with Susie Payne and Barbara Williams in the early- to mid-1970s (at 3rd & Balaclava) and Jeremy was one of the people who was a not infrequent visitor. This remembrance took me back a few years! I always liked Jeremy in those days and now he's flying with the eagles.

It was a pretty great day, a ton of old friends and lots of chat and memories. The McCall family runs on of the very few independent funeral homes in Canada and the venue was really perfectly designed. Marian, and her sister Margo did a fabulous job and I am so glad that she asked me to edit the McCall's feed and restore the photos, add the thank yous and get it out to all the friends and family who couldn't make it. And yes, that Balaclava house and the people inside, was pretty incredible.

Thanks, Bevvy - Marian let me tweak it from the funeral home feed and get it out to folks who knew and loved Jer. Glad you liked it. Please share it as widely as you wish. xoxoxo

I was in Dr. Reynertson’s film-studies class, Theatre 230, in 1971-72. Great class, though to sit and watch a film, even a great film, at 3:30 invariably put one to sleep. My wonderful classmates included Kathy Daniels, Nettie Barrie Canada Wilde, and Ed Astley. And the TAs were Tom Braidwood and a guy named Kurt. I’m sure I still have a short essay I wrote - maybe on WILD STRAWBERRIES - and I can see the little note in red: ‘Good analysis. 125/150. TB’ Years later I enjoyed watching Tom with Tamahnous. There was a funny play in which Anna Hagen and David Peterson played two talking ducks. And Tom played a mystical old hippy, wandering through the woods and gently chanting his mantra: ‘bushbushbushbush’ He was a delight, and it’s great to see him (and to see you, Stevie) in this interview now. 💙

its lovely...she is my daughter but her theory of radical kindness is a hoot. and she knows it...also she did not run away from home her university was carefully selected and paid for...as i insisted that she could be an actress but had to be an educated one...so al ot of storytelling all the way.
