Katie N's statement on choosing who to vote for based on survival.. that almost makes me cry because that's exactly how I feel. Like fortunately, i'm more than ok with a lot of the other policies of the party I'm going to vote for, but I did choose them because they actually seem to support trans people. They aren't trying to both-sides it. They aren't pulling "we'll ban conversion therapy BUUUUT...", they aren't trying to appease people who's ultimate desire is that trans people don't functionally exist in the world. And I absolutely hate that the state of this country has forced me into being a single issue voter. That it forced me out of being able to do the "smart" thing - voting tactically, making sure the tories don't get back in, actually trying to change the country.. and makes me go for one of the *two* parties that actually give a damn about respecting the existence of trans people.

Hell yes to Katie Neeves celebrating fathers day. To me it just makes sense to give one parent father's day, the other parent mother's day. Y'all can switch it around if you like, but.. Just a day to celebrate each parent, individually! to thank each parent, individually!

To Katie N, you saying "freedom to explore" made me flinch. I've just finished reading through one of the manifestos, and their use of that phrase is extremely anxiety inducing. Why?: They attach it to the back end of a pledge to ban conversion therapy, including for trans people. Specifically, "implement a gender-inclusive ban on conversion therapy, while providing the freedom to explore their sexuality or gender." That *while* does some concerning lifting, especially in the context of a ban. How it reads to me, the only way I *can* read it, is that they wish to write the ban in such a way that a loophole exists for "exploratory" therapy. For any *not* in the know, exploratory therapy is just, effectively, a rebranding of conversion therapies to avoid the stigma "conversion therapy" has now. It's a very ominous sounding pledge, couched in language that otherwise sounds like a good thing. It honestly sounds like a ban that won't actually ban. That "while" could easily be read as an 'and' but no, using it like that is more in line with 'however', or 'but' - it's conversion therapy ban with a caveat.

Good effort. Word of advice though, on the leg press, never fully extend out locking the legs. one day it could result in hyper extension and your legs snapping backwards under the weight (I.e. your knees and legs fail). It happens surprisingly often and often results in permanent disability. Always keep a slight bend at the knees.

All that effort to wake up early and go gym to have the lowest intensity, most mid session ever? Lol. Waste of time. High intensity in the gym or don’t bother

🤓”Waste of Time” No reason to put people down what so ever. You writing this comment was genuinely meaningless, this is a short and you cant even see the entire workout. You put the gym community to shame.

Such an amazing talk Taz, I especially like what you said about "Too many unshed tears drown the heart, we need to find that balance". It really helped me change my state of mind, and since listening, I've cried when I needed to without feeling depressed, and said yes a lot more often to fulfilling my life when I've felt depressed. Thank You. #UnleashYourAwesome #TazThornton #Replay #Emotion

Excellent message Taz, thank you so much for sharing! I see homophobia everyday within the circles I move in. I don't promote so much, but I won't hide who I am, where I am either. People attack the LGBT+ rainbow branding, without understanding the reason or need for it's presence. People are still classed as a criminal in most parts of the world for being of a different nature to what is accepted as the norm. I joined a chat a few days ago, one I had left yet still followed, I felt I needed to speak up. In the chat someone had screenshot two products one with LGBT+ branding and commented "gay vaseline it costs more". Who they're attacking is someone who maybe feeling alone, afraid, confused, conflicted, isolated, cast out from their friends and family, maybe even homeless, and maybe in need of talking to someone, someone who won't judge them, someone who can direct them to other helpful resources. Which is what "Gay Vaseline" is for, to raise money for a charity, so that when that somebody is in need, they have the option to call someone who will at least listen or just be there. When I responded to the homophobia with my own screenshot of the homophobia and the truth that the LGBT+ branded product helps people, the admin stated, "maybe also its a clearance line as marked" referring to the cheaper product. It changed the direction of the chat at the time. The next morning the same human posted more homophobia, In which I didn't respond as it was an obvious retaliation, being the first post of the morning. I haven't seen any homophobic being posted since :) Yet it's definitely not the place to promote it. But I won't hide, in fact I'll actively engage where I feel the golden rule is being crossed. #UnleashYourAwesome #TazThornton #Replay #LGBTQIA #Pride #Courage #Love #BeYou #Time 💯

Yes a dog is definitely more than just a dog. They're a friend, confidante, and unconditional love. Hope the vets are able to find a way to treat Thea's cancer. Do my best to 'live in the moment', and take each day as it comes, but have to admit of late I'm finding this harder to do. I know I'll get back up there though, I've been down before and got back up again with help. What's it they say... 'Fall down nine times, but get back up ten! XxX

Out of curiosity how would one apply to Eva’s acting classes as I do drama at university right now and would love to develop further and learn from such a pro like her. I’ve suffered with my mental health and having you both talking so openly really has helped. Especially the spiritual side of healing etc, as I really do relate x ❤️

I loved Catherine in Holby City and I loved this interview/chat with her. There were some great 'take aways' as well. The 4,4,4 Box breathing which I confess I'd never heard of but will definitely try at some point, the surprise visits to her neighbours whilst out on her bike and the photos she's taken; what a lovely thing to do and last but not least, the 3 things list and of course, every list has to be double ticked! Thank you again for a great video and a huge thank you to Catherine too.

I've finally got round to watching this video. Another awesome down to earth chat that has some real golden nuggets of humour and help for us all. I love the idea of the tent and I can't say how much I love Eva Cassidy too - Fields of Gold is one of my all time favourites (not Sting's version though). I'd love to see the live gig as and when it's available - or have I missed it? I hope not! Thank you Taz and Heather. A great video.
