you can't beat the guitars that are coming out of Italy today though.

What would be anyone's estimation of a humble Esteve 1GRO3E ? I've just acquired it and it has such a lovely "confidential" tone (a phrase I borrow from Andres Segovia.)

Hauser III sounds best, but then it sounds as though its has been recorded differently from the other guitars. Higher gain? Closer microphone position?

Amazingly warm and precious sound from all, but to my ears & speakers the Hauser 2008 had the most powerful trembles to lead the melody. Well- done and Regards from Athens !

Hello, Briado. After playing through all my life at last I left all my classical guitars in peace and kept playing the only 2 romantic guitars replicas of a Rene Lacote 1820 several hours per day.

Why did you do this change ?? 650 to 630 scale , smaller body and probably 415 or around 423 Hz instead of 440 Hz?? Do you use real gut strings as well ??? What are your reasons ?? I am curious

@@gilbert6023 Dear Gilbert, mine is 635 mm length, 1st and 2nd string are nylon but imitation of gut (so called NYLGUT, italian Aquila brand) the third is wounded Savarez string, the rest are simply normal classical guitar strings; the result is as shows in the following video ( It has tremendous volume and projection that I proved in large concert halls ), please have a listen and tell me your opinion, ok? Thanks a lot ! kzbin.info/www/bejne/n4O7n5-dnb-rgNE

@@gilbert6023Tuned from 410 to 445 it sounds beautiful & loud anyway. The reason why I dedicated to this 1820 small guitar is : 1, It sounds louder than classical guitar and responds better to my touch. 2, Tone-wise, it caresses the singing voice or flute, violin´s tone perfectly, while classical guitars don't. 3, Playing it hung on my shoulder I can practice hours a day without being exhausted, but with classical guitar it is a pain in the ass.

Lovely music, performance, and instruments. The Jubilee had the most robust and refined harmonic balance. But both Hauser guitars had intonation imperfection. But I would still forfeit that for the tone.

I have listened to this video several times, from the same place and with the same multimedia parameters without changing anything. And the two Hauser stand out notably with a greater number of harmonics. Greater "Crystalline" clarity and better support and projection. The last harmonic of the piece (El Noy de la Mare by Miguel Llobet) makes very clear the cleanliness, clarity and projection of these two guitars. But if one stands out a little more than the other is undoubtedly HermannHauserIII . Excellent video thanks
