The only way I can prevent front wheel spin when starting from a stop is to lean over the handlebar. And that does not work if the surface is wet or soft or slightly uphill. There is very little weight distributed over the front drive wheel. My unit is going for sale.

I own one. It is impossible if sitting normally to move from a stop without the front wheel spinning from lost traction. I need to lean forward over the handlebar to prevent wheel spin. That is true even if on dry, hard, level surfaces. If on wet or soft or slightly uphill surfaces, nothing prevents the front wheel from spinning. There is poor weight distribution with little over the front drive wheel. I am putting my unit up for sale.

It's a great car, but if the front and rear wheels are small and a little too big, it will be bought immediately. Confidence is important as soon as the potholes break down on the bumpy road..

I have now had 5 of these scooters (starting with older models). I have a rare disorder and can no longer walk. I use this scooter to go and do everything. I also have a dog and we compete in most dog sports, including Dog Agility and I use the scooter vs running the course. I am a big fan of this device. I do however wish is had better torque (power). A more powerful out door version would be great.

I was planning hard on buying this but my regular scooter gets 18 miles this only 15 and there’s no swapped battery . I’ll keep looking until I find one with a Snapple battery . I tend to travel a lot on my scooter just to sight see or go to the mall and I just have a nagging feeling this will have me stuck somewhere . Looks nice tho but not feasible for people who are still curious about being outside and just wishing to aimlessly enjoy good weather
