miui 13 on my poco x3 pro brought in sidebar which is an amazing way to launch multiple apps in floating mode from anywhere, idk why it isn't there on the mi pad since that would improve the multitasking experience significantly.

Could you test split screen in portrait mode? In MIUI 12 when the orientation is portrait the split screen mode divides the apps vertically instead of horizontally. I'm wondering if they fixed this in 13? Edit, NSR Tech is wrong here, on both MIUI 12 and 13, when the tablet is in portrait mode, multitasking only divides the apps vertically but not horizontally. The OS should provide both options.
