If BBC Sherlock doesn't bring back the character of Jim Moriarty in Season 5 I will be truly shocked. Andrew Scott is the most talented actor on the series and if the producers of BBC Sherlock think the show will last long without a great villain they are delusional. It's bad enough there is so little mystery left in BBC Sherlock you can barely call it a detective show anymore. At the rate things are going the actors will be old enough for old age benefits by the time we get a series 5 or 6. Finish the stories for heaven's sake.

I have viewed video clips where even Benedict Cumberbatch calls his character Sherly when talking about Sherlock. Sherlock, genius that he is, can be strong smart and cunning. Sherlock can also be a whiny neurotic and petulant dark character. It's those times where the nickname Sherly fits him. We are talking about a character who enjoys beating corpses and watching public executions. Sherlock has a dark side. The BBC Sherlock series often sanitizes his darker character flaws to keep the fans happy. He was written as a very multi faceted character and that part of him shouldn't be ignored.

Every time I watch this video I am enthralled by Andrew Scott's facial expressions and body movements. Even without the music (which is a great song by the way). Andrew Scott impresses me more as an actor than Benedict Cumberbatch. In all his different roles, that I have been lucky enough to see clips of Andrew Scott on various online places, he seems to extract something out of his own soul that he blends with the character that he is portraying and shares it with us the lucky audience. Thank you for making and posting this video.

No offense but I would rather see Sheriarty and Mystrade as canonical than Johnlock a thousand times over as far as ships go. There are so many places the plot could go with these pairings.

Mesmerized by Jim. Sherly has forgotten Jim but Jim has never forgotten Sherly. An unimaginable pain to love someone so deeply who no longer has any memory of you. All the drugs in the world can't kill that sorrow. All the games in the world won't solve this puzzle. Sherly in a sense is Jim's sleeping princess. Can Sherly be awakened with a kiss ? Who knows ? This cannot be forced, Jim wants Sherly to come to him. That is the only way it will be real.
