Cost a fortune and millions in insurance. It would never turn a profit. The cost of nostalgia never worth it either.

Too costly to reopen and maintain. Health and safety and red tape would be the biggest hurdle.

one of the drivers was cotter my father remembers him well he was born in 1923

My dad had it on a tape.Looks like a tv programme by rte . My uncle is in the clip.All my family and ancestors worked in the railway .

i played around dingle station in early sixties it was used to store props for ryans daughter many happy memories for me not for others leaving never to see home again
