this guy would retire, I think how one guy who runs so consistently in the past until 2007, where he was only 24, now at 29 years old, is unable to run under 45 seg.......He was olimpic Champion, two time world champion, Now he doens't have any conditions to make a team.

ok fair enough i thought u were just saying he should add weight so that he is as big as the other guys but if u mean he needs to add power which results in adding weight then yh i agree
@kezza45412 жыл бұрын
i hate when people say sprinters should add muscle. no, they should add power and strength. this usually results in more muscle, but they dont try to put on muscle. its better for them to get more powerful without getting muscle, cus they will have a higher power to weight ratio, a sprinter should never gain muscle purely for the sake of adding a few pounds of weight
@MrKarlozz12 жыл бұрын
I think Wariner lacks power. Weighing 155 pounds isn't much. MJ was 170 lbs in his prime and he was only an inch taller than Wariner. However, I'm not saying Wariner should get that big but gaining a few pounds of muscle wouldn't hurt

if you have taken gh you would know you ,obviously you havent. You dont have to take large doses of it to have a positive athletic results . But long term use will often eventually cause acromeglic type effects. Personally i was effected in my wrist bones and sinus cavities
@melglen112 жыл бұрын
only in really large doses does it make you big in mild doses hgh has many beneficial performance enhancing effects . The jaw bone does not change after mid 20 s and 30 s like lewis s did without using a growth hormone . All 208 human bones ossiffy by at most age 25 .
@melglen112 жыл бұрын
if carl didnt use gh then why did his teeth need realigning , how did his jaw bone continue to grow when he was in 20s and 30s . This is what gh does and it makes you lean and strong like Wariner and lewis and phelps

no doubt.

unfortunately the sport doesn't seem to have enough money in the U.S to get quality commentators. Is that Sarah Palin or does she just think like her?

@Con7ent [Continuing on from my previous 'post' about the 400M] being in "no man's land", as it were - between the sprints and the middle-distances.
@TheEctomorph12 жыл бұрын
@Con7ent It is interesting that you should describe the 400M as a "distance" run. Nowadays, one frequently hears the quarter-mile event referred to as an "extended sprint"! Personally, I think that the 400M is a strange event - it is too long to be considered a sprint, in the true sense of that word; yet, strictly speaking, it is too short to be regarded as a middle-distance race. I suppose that it is accurate to describe the event as
@Con7ent12 жыл бұрын
@TheEctomorph They're really two different worlds of competition so I don't think it's a very fair comparison. The diet, exercise, technique and psychology for running sprints is different from all distance runs, 400M or beyond.

@2mliam Mr James may well have greater potential (as a 400 metres runner) than the 6 foot 5" Jamaican speedster ...... but there is absolutely NO WAY that he will ever be able to emulate Mr Bolt's exceptional achievements in the two sprint events - 100 and 200 metres. May I remind you what Bolt's personal bests are for those events: 9.58 [100m] and 19.19 [200m]. Those times are kinda fast, don't you think?!
