Hiya I’ve been 2 Kingfisher 2day I’ve been in them 2 lifts that you went in and level 2 was locked for me as well but I managed 2 go up there because someone called the lift not sure why tho there locked I did ask but we all wasn’t sure 👍

This was built in 2004. How to tell the dates on these stannah maxilifts is quite hard but ill tell you how to tell the build dates on these. In the 90s the last digit from any of the years in the 90s will be used ex: 8 is the start number = 1998 In the 2000s a 2 will be the first digit and the last digit will be the last number of any year in the 2000s Ex 21 = 2001, 24 = 2004, 23 = 2003, 29 = 2009 In the 2010s the starting digit will be a 3 and the last digit will be last number of any year in 2010s Ex: 31 = 2011, 33 = 2013 Stannah don't really manufacturer maxilifts anymore so you don't really see these serial/build dates on maxilifts no more. If stannah manufactured a maxilift like this in the 2020s the starting didn't will be a 4 Ex: 40 = 2020

Actually this HobbyCraft store opened in 2003 and the lift has not been replaced whatsoever during its existence

OK. But this was installed in 2005. As that's what it says on the serial number the first one or two numbers is the year ex: 9857 = 1999 234564 = 2003 & 315674 = 2011 that's how you tell the year on stannah maxilifts. On newer stannah lifts the year will be on the installation signs like the stannah midilifts you see now. Maybe when this opened in 2003 they were just about to build this lift and it was completed in 2005 as this stannah is from early 2005 as stannah moved on from that design on maxilifts in 2005. This doesn't look like it's been replaced of course not.
