This is a great recap. Really happy for this fella. I have been working mostly as a Scrum Master and Agile ProjMgr for the past 10 years. I'd like to transition to Product Manager, but I seem to be in the "can't get hired unless you have experience, and you can't get experience unless you are hired" loop. Good tips! As a Product manager w/ 3 YOE (no MBA background) I agree with all the points mentioned. I have been trying for a switch as well and genAI has been super useful for mock interviews to refine/improve my answers!
