THE CHICAGO BEARS COULD USE HIM AS OUR CENTER.

If I were the Bears I would draft Marvin Harrison Jr. #1 and Draft a QB in the second round. Don't spend either 1st round pick on a QB.
@stevegorman24092 ай бұрын
You put an offensive line that can block in front of Justin fields. You give him some more talent like Marvin Harrison and maybe another running back and look out this kid is gonna be the number one quarterback in the league. I promise you

Update: Waldron had a press conference today. It seems like he dodged questions and wouldn't discuss Fields directly.
@mcfact18272 ай бұрын
He sounded like a politician.
@ki-janathomas2 ай бұрын
I am aware of the press conference, He sounded like a man who was told not to reveal anything and keep it generic, The Bears are not going to tip thier hand about anything (Especially the QB Situation and the #1pick), Waldron wouldn't even name the skill position players (e.g DJ Moore, Cole Kmet). Let's give the man some time before passing judgement.
@mcfact18272 ай бұрын
@@ki-janathomas oh no I'm not judging him as a OC. I was just analyzing the press conference. He did covertly mention explosiveness and off schedule plays as a reason for coming to the Bears. Of course, there's only one person who fits those descriptions....... Fields

Eberfkus was chosen by Mccaskey & Phillips and Poles took this GM job. Now President Warren came in and Poles has an evaluator. Poles hires Waldron OC being an offensive player. Eberfkus hires new DC and so far coaching experience has improved 100-plus percent! Kevin Warren I think came here to help JF1 get his career going in the right direction and the bears. Slow & steady Warren said which fits Poles build through the draft but start winning yearly. This 1st round pick could set the bears up for 2 or years with 2nd round 3rd round picks that improves every position with strong competitive prices. Bears could be challenging for North and possibly NFC championship by 2025 or 25! GO BEARS & BEAR DOWN! Vision is what makes winners ❤❤❤

This video is right though. One of the very first things we saw with Russ in Denver was plays going to his Blind Spot, the middle of the field. He excelled in Seattle because of Waldron. Look, no one way of coaching works for everyone. Sean McVay is like this too. Plus, he teaches people what they need to know to figure out the rest so he doesn't have to hold your hand forever. Coaches from his tree are starting to spread out. But Jared Goff _H A T E S_ systems where he has to think about adjusting post-snap. He does better under the Lions' system *because* they have an OC who limits what they'll do, have The Best O-line & Goff can just play The Play called. If Eberflus actually lets Waldron have free rein with Fields things are about to really improve in CHI. Up 'til now I feel 100% confident that Poles & Eberflus had a long-term plan involving undermining fields in their effort to oust him. This may still be the case: Waldron may be there for Caleb. We'll see.

You keep Fields. The locker room is behind Fields.

My concern based on the footage here.... Waldron does not have the QB under center 50% of time
@ki-janathomas2 ай бұрын
True. But when the Sehawks were in S-Gun he mostly kept 2 TE's, 2 RB's as well. 22 personnel is one of his calling cards.
@mcfact18272 ай бұрын
@@ki-janathomas based on my experience, it seems easier to run the ball from under center. In the S-gun it's easier for the defense to see the QB and the run coming. PA is also better from under center.

@@mcfact1827 {Here's some context on Shane Waldron's personnel usage from Bears reddit user u/Further_Beyond and this was posted about a month ago}: He lines up in 12 personnel 9th most in the NFL and 11 personnel 23rd most. Seattle likes to have their 2 highly paid TEs in Dissly/Fant (11th and 5th in cap hit in 2023) on the field They lined up in shotgun 26th most and single back the 6th most. They passed at the 7th highest rate and rushed at the 26th highest.

Keep in mind that the highlights/clips i used were from Geno Smith 2022 season highlights. This by no means is showing Shane Waldron's full scheme and system.

_REALLY?_ You see & understand *that?* But not one comment about the terrible play-calling Fields has had to deal with under Eberflus? Not Getsy; Eberflus. Can you imagine any NFL QB saying out loud to the public that he is confused? That (after a year with them) he "doesn't know what his coaches expect of him?" That was a massive Cry For Help & all the "fans" ignored it. How many times would Joe Burrow have to stare at instead of throw to an open receiver before they would take him out of a game & put him into a blue tent? Three tops? But just because Eberflus brushes it aside before anyone can even finish questions regarding it people have come to accept that as a normal part of Fields' game when it was new? & then there's this: not One Person On The Bears Was Even _SURPRISED_ when it happened? HOW tf is it possible to Not Be _SURPRISED_ by a QB refusing to throw to open receivers? Lack of surprise means it was expected. Eberflus makes it 100% clear when he speaks to the press that He Decides what plays to limit the offense to & for two full years he has jerked his QB around, called plays designed to fail & tried to make that QB go nuts by never telling him why he is doing ANY of it. & now what, Fields is supposed to co0ntinue under this guy as if none of this happened? & things will now "get better" as if nothing happened? It's impossible that all the p;layers have been following plays they know suck while having a winning Team spirit unless like on the Bills people in the locker-room work to maintain it. What did Poles & Eberflus do first? got rid of their locker-room leaders. They have been gearing to oust Fields & everyone on the team knows it. Everyone on the Raiders knew Josh McD wanted Carr out for the same reason. No one there spoke out either, right? But if I'm Fields I would Never Be Able To trust Matt Eberflus ever again. Cripes, if he doesn't give Fields a personal apology before speaking to the team as if nothing happened I'd likely call him out for it so that the rest of the team would know to have faith in Fields.
