The exterior/outside of the bisham Manor was used for the haunting of hill house but I think they made the inside of the house from scratch for set. Or we'll that's what I read

My great-great grandfather William R. Abbott was an early photographer in Opelika. A few years ago I found some info on his family home when it was being remodeled but I have lost the info. Does anyone know anything about the "Abbott House." The article referred to it by that name. My grandfather was also born in Opelika.

Well, I'm here because of HOHH. The house is really amazing in the outside and inside but yeah I'm sure they just filmed the outside and also the small room outside for the box o' kittens scene is actually near the house while in the movie it's a bit far from the house. It's cool though. And this tour video was published five years before the series. Thanks for sharing it, anyway!
