Nice! But How do you find firefighting missions? I only flew the first one in Vigo (Spain) and no other mission showed up anywhere.

@@RetroMono the initial attack missions are ok if not a bit too simple. The extended attack are quite challenging mostly because it seems really hard to takeoff once you've refilled your tanks.

Not sure what happened here but game spawned my pilot outside of the landing zone and I was stuck there. Then it decided to lock my aircraft up presumably in a running state with frozen rotor blades which magically started spinning. Hopefully Asobo can iron out the bugs cause there's tons of potential assuming they add more variety to mission types. So far I've seen 2 types of rotor cargo missions, moving stuff from oil rig to boat and from airport to cabin in the woods...

The entire career system is a game, let's be honest here. I'm actually a commercial rated pilot and there's nothing in this sim that even remotely resembles real life in terms of procedures or difficulty. I am grinding through the career so that I can more easily test aircraft... to that effect I'm going to do so in the easiest way possible which at the moment is sitting back with an xbox 360 controller.

I would say: Take your time and don't rush such a wonderful project. The outside model looks very accurate so far, even the color in sunshine. I am sure, that a project like this brings a lot of headache while testing. Take care and good luck.🙂

Appreciate the kind words. The project has been put on hold until version 2024 of the sim is released as it contains some functionality I need for the heli to work correctly. This is meant to be Airwolf and not just a Bell222 with an Airwolf skin to accuracy to the fictional heli is paramount.

I did include some parts of the heli for cowansim's excellent 222b release but project Airwolf was pushed back to a 2024 release due to the fact that I'm too busy with other work projects.

Is this project being continued? Cowan sim seems to be using part of this model now, but its only visuals and no practical functionality. Additionally, those visual upgrades are on their inaccurate bell222 model. I strongly preferred yours, as the fuselage is more accurate.

I gave Cowansim a few of my airwolf parts so that he could improve his airwolf livery a bit. Project Airwolf is still alive but I decided to delay it til MSFS 2024 as there are features missing in 2020 that I want.

Project Airwolf is on hold for now as I'm far too busy with other work related projects. I did however partner with Cowansim to provide part of the model free of charge for anyone who owns his B222 so if you wanna fly a B222 that looks like Airwolf that would be your best option at the moment.
