Whats the meaning of hot and cold in tcm i went to tcm doc and she asked m u r hot or cold and i didnt know the answer like in what sense
@Acuproacademy12 сағат бұрын
@@Munizaanwer she did not ask you the question properly. I usually say are you someone that get cold easy, do you love hot drinks more and saunas or hot showers? Or do you feel hot easily, love cold drinks and winter? These clues help us determine one of potential imbalances in your body 🥰 hope this helps 🙏

@AcuproacademyКүн бұрын
@@lindabelinske2381 no questions are silly 🙏 no there’s not as this pertains to the TCM spleen which corresponds to the entire digestive system 🥰
@lindabelinske2381Күн бұрын
@Acuproacademy Thank you, I'm both asplenic and (as a result of the major rupture & full abdominal surgery thereafter) have "frozen abdomen" (or massive abdominal adhesions for anyone reading who may not know what that is). My large intestine also deviates now where my actual spleen is missing. I'm seeing an acupuncturist for nearly 1 year now. Although not as consistently as I was when I started. We always focus on my upper body pain (right upper back, neck, sinus, and ear). It does provide relief but I feel as though I may want to seek a practitioner more like yourself who truly evaluates symptoms along with individual history. Or in other words, the problem isn't necessarily where the symptom erupts. You clearly embody that in your practice! Also- you're inspiring someone like me, at 44yrs old, to learn and possibly seek training in the future. I think I'll start with one of your books... should I enroll in professional training, I know it will be a gem of a resource ♡

im water at my core, thrive whilst roaming around in nature, through cities, over the land for kilometers where i can have far views, self-reflecting endlessly, thats the most calming and soothing thing....but at the same time, when around people have for the day-to-day affairs of life Im wood/wind and fire.....im very excitable and joyful (also when alone, always giggling and laughing with myself lol), i like being with people but ONLY when i know they like me, when i feel really comfortable and trust them and still even if the best people to me not for a too long time and i need to be alone again....but as soon as the people and surroundings arent my thing and i feel threatened QUICKLY i get irritated and aggressive, that is the wood thing.....im ambitious but its really rreally hard for me to finish things, even smallest things as fixing my nails e.g., or washing dishes....i usually pause everything half-way out of boredom and start something new and do 5 things at the same time and finish none. lol. but always wanting to achieve and aiming high, but then not having enough drive and losing energy on the way also as i HATE competiion and simply cant deal with harsh competition. its quite difficult with so many opposing traits, and people get confused by it

Points to slow heart palpitation?
@Acuproacademy3 күн бұрын
@@Stoiction TCM doesn’t work that way, we treat the person as a whole, not the disorder. We look at the root cause & address it! We look at the tongue, observe the skin, eyes, hair...we take the pulse, ask questions on sleep, digestion, diet, immune system...and then we make a TCM diagnosis and create a treatment plan accordingly 🙏
@Stoiction3 күн бұрын
@ So no emegency solution in case of palpitation occurs. Acupressure does I think so.Vital Points - Pericardium 6 (PC6 Inner Gate), Heart 7 (HT7), Conception Vessel 17 (CV17) and Kidney 1 (KD1). I’m a Acuppresure practitioner since 2006. Acupressure is generally faster and more accessible for emergency relief compared to acupuncture, especially since it does not require specialized equipment or professional assistance.Acupuncture may provide deeper, longer-lasting relief but is not as practical for immediate self-relief.
@Acuproacademy3 күн бұрын
@ sure you can use these points when palpitations occurs (it seems you knew the answer to your question 🥰) but if it’s an emergency, they will need to go to the hospital.
