i love that hi hat + snare pattern!!! only thing i'd say is the 808 and counter melody might sound better if they were on the same key as each other (because theyre both basses) but this is still really good

Definitely could use some tweaks with the plugin/melody. I see where you were going, but definitely come back to this with fresh ears. I saw a short about Metro Boomin that might help give some life to the chords. Hope this helps! kzbin.info/www/bejne/hoPNaX9vjZd2f80feature=shared

Make a beat a day in 5 minutes on a timer until you can actually get something you’re happy with in that time frame. That’s my advice early ❤but sounds good

1:30 This is a very easy question to answer from an anxiety perspective. The anxious mind desperately wants to know what other people are thinking because it will reduce anxiety (specifically social anxiety). And of course, trying to find out what someone is thinking without actually interacting with them is a stupid idea and a waste of time. It can drive you crazy, sometimes it does. It's like living in my own fantasy world that has no connection to reality. But even though I know all this, it doesn't change anything. It fucking sucks. I'm tired of this shit.

To help with the timing there is a button that says none up top next to the pattern selection. Click that and set it to line to have it snap to bars. in the piano roll you can do the same thing with the magnet tool on the top of the piano window. 1/3 step is good for hi-hat rolls, faster hats, etc. other than that line is pretty much suitable for most cases. So far you have a lot to learn, but you started off way better than I did! Keep It Up!

Isnt the self-concept created by ego? If abandoned, one would be freed from anxiety and most of the neurotic feelings. The concept of shadow is ambivalent, the shadow of unconscious is both dark and golden in the unrealised potential that our ego represses by its mechanism of action. Our true identity is hidden beneath, trying to control our ego instead of going down the road of individuation seems, ummm, not ideal. What do you think?

@@animehunter3234 Funny enough, I planned the next episode of the series to be about this exact topic. I have my own take on this subject. I don’t believe that the ego is “bad”, nor the experiences that come with it. I believe that we reach our true identity through experiencing reverence aka. A state of complete unconditional love and awe. And that means learning to love the ego and it’s flaws, which can be a touchy subject. I don’t believe that tangible or earthly things are evil or bad, because manifesting money or beauty creates faith, and you need faith to achieve reverence.

Thank you for making this video. Its like YT was reading my mind when it recommended it. I wouldn't say I partake in self punishment anymore (although I could be wrong) but I have been struggling a lot with processing grief regarding my dad. Stuff that I thought was behind me but apparently not. Going to find a therapist.
