Nerf Herder was my favorite band back in the day. I went to one of their shows in Seattle once. Now I have a kid and we listen to Parry's newer stuff all the time. Nobody does it better, in terms of making pure, uncut sound crack that's universally accessible and perfectly uncomplicated. It sometimes seems so simple, but it's surprisingly easy to mess this kind of thing up by deviating from the formula or by having darkness in one's soul. Thanks for the decades of happiness, guys.

I don't want to believe in the Mendala effect, but there's no possible way that this song has 200k total views. I swear this song was a huge hit. Or maybe my older sister and her friends were just cooler than I thought at the time.

just a reminder that most of our childhoods were made by the lead vocalist. Parry Gripp ring any bells? Space Unicorn? simpler times.

Nerf Herder Rules! I was in a teenie Pop-Punk band when I was 17 and opened for you guys at The Ventura Theater (Ventura, CA) back in either '99 or 2000. Didn't even know who you were then but was one of the best shows I'd ever seen and I'd been a fan ever since. As others said, NH was a greatly under-rated and under appreciated band. I wish they would have blown up back in the day, if anyone deserved it it was these guys.

This song aged really well. Still feels brand new in my heart, and it still cracks me up every time. Even though I identify as female, and was assigned female at birth...a big part of me is eternally a 20 year old man-child from1995. All of it. All of it sounds like shit I did lol

They were the guests and that's when I heard the song VAN HALEN I had the self titled cassette til I played it to death. On my 3rd copy of the cd. Back before I got a job in the game industry, the crew of the local McDonalds and I would close out the store each night with this blasting max volume on a piddly little 90s CD stereo player. It helped us survive those cruel times of being underpaid and overworked. (Also learned about Rammstein ahead of when they really took off in popularity.) Hope Joel and Anthony are doing great, wherever they ended up 25 years later!
