Great review. Regarding liner inside how about a thin drybag in yellow, white or orange. Lines might also make it easy to pull stuff out from the Rheino's...

What a great all rounder this bike is .. I was going to get a DR650 but instead looked at the XT660R because of the water cooling , fuel injection & roller-rockers which is great because most big singles have troubles with top end valve trains , look at the KTM mess now with their Can lobes made from cheese 😂

Soory, but wouldnt know. I dont have that bike, but usually issues with high exhausts can be solved with seperate heat shields.

Skapligt med packning gubbar, men i den rymdes det en toppentur med ett härligt gäng vad jag kan se. Det visar att man kan göra fantastiska turer utan att krångla till det. Hoppas ni får en bra sommar!

Hi! I just had the bike a couple of months after the tower was installed so I unfortunately dont remember all details. But, as I recall no problem with stability and wind protection ok. Thanks for watching!

Jag sålde faktisk hojen bara ca 6 mån efter denna video gjordes. Önskade en mc med ABS. 😀 Har tyvärr inga uppgifter om vikten, men det var ett stadigt bygge och jag var klart nöjd med det har en kompis som kört Hellas Rally med detta torn på en 450 EXC.

Hello good evening. I have seen your videos and I have a doubt, I also have an XT660R like yours and I wanted to know if with the original exhausts that your bike has that are like mine too, the Givi panniers do not heat up when touching the exhaust or they run the risk of being burned, since I also want to mount some panniers and I am not sure if they can be burned with the exhausts or not. I am doubting between the 14Lx2 (probably too small) or the 28L x 2 (probably too big). Is it possible to pull the straps to tighten them and prevent them from stretching too far away from the saddle? In that case i would go for the bigger ones. Thanks!

Hi, they are completely new so don't have any idea yet, but will update as time goes. The compound is harder than for example TKC80, which might give you some idea... 😀👍

@@kallehagstrom-adventuresincl I have the E-09 front on my AT, so I know a little about the compound. I was just wondering if the weight of the 390 makes the tires last longer than 8.000km. So if you have any results, I would be interested :) .

So it lasted that long on a heavy bike like that,? That is good news! I seldom have my tires much more than 5-6000 km. But, I do hope this lasts longer.

Yes, now I understand, thanks! No, I dont think there is one, but I am not sure it is necessary. The material is more or less indestructable, flying stones won't break it. 😀 The screen is also divided in two parts. One is covering The lamps and one is for wind protection. That mean you could change only The boken part, but again I don't think that will happen. 😀

No, I didnt experience any problems with that. Since it is a universal product, it might differ from different bikes, but I believe they are a safe bet. 😀👍

Well, it is loud and probably to loud to pass the MOT in Sweden were I live. But, it is a 5-10 minute work to change it to the original system if you want to. I havent tried a "harder" Db killer, which could also be a solution. To summarize it, it is loud, but I like it. 😀

You disconnect the air flow temperature sensor that sits in the left hand side of air box at the connector . Re connect yours in place of that.

Thinking absolut it again, I would get the measurements before ordering. The straps are long, but depending on where your exhaust is and hence how far from the bike your rack ends up, it could be the straps are to short. But, one simple solution to that would be to get another pair of Velcro straps and attach to the existing ones and making them longer. Good luck!

Hi! Thanks for your nice comment! The tower is rather cheap compared to many other manufacturers I have compared with. With the black powder coat it was approx 470 Euros. You can find/buy it at adventure-bike.be There are even cheaper options, but I chose go for the one with 4 led lights.
