not sure it's a good idea to show a boom lift being used as a crane. When I was getting certified for operating a boom lift, the instructor was a very knowledgeable person about boom lifts and scissor lifts which is what I was taking the training for, and he said the cardinal rule of boom lifts is a"Thou shalt not use your boom lift as a crane." He said that was Rule #1. Could boom lifts be made heavy enough so that Rule #1 not always in effect, but but for most boom lifts I think Rule #1 still applies. Today, we have telehandlers being set up to work as boom lifts, and they're a lot heavier machines than your typical boom lift, and designed for pretty heavy lifting - so that's a possible exception area. But in general, for most boom lifts out there in the world, I think Rule #1 probably still applies: "Thou shalt not use your boom lift as a crane." (I have created my own Rule #2 for boom lifts which is "Thou shalt not bump into buildings with your boom lift.")

We offer models with and without a ladder. It is always depending on the customer specification and the reasoning is based on their evaluation and local requirements. Ladders can be used, for example, as a secondary escape route for the fire fighters.
