Thank you this version is lovely. I heard it first from Aine Minogue's 2004 album, The Twilight Realm, with her haunting voice singing the lyrics. This is a gorgeous instrumental. Thank you again.

I wish the sound quality were better on this recording. This is the first song I ever heard by Aryeh Frankfurter, and I fell in love with it. This way of playing it adds a very new dimension to the song, compared to the studio recording. I love both renditions, but I would love to have a recording of it like this, which is of good quality.

Thanks Loren. This video was made well over 12 years ago. I published it on KZbin in 2010. Sorry for the poor quality, but that's the equipment we had back then and the video was created somewhat impromptu. It's a cool tune. As performer's we are always tinkering with how we play the music. I don't think I could play it this way anymore. Like zen monk sand art, everything is just a moment in time, to be swept away after it is completed ... that's the beauty of live performance.
@lorenmiller37975 жыл бұрын
@@MrLionharpmusic I understand what you mean about the fact that it would sound completely different now than it did 12 years ago. Your style of playing adds more dimension, power and beauty to the music of the harp than anyone else I've heard, so naturally, any song you do is going to evolve, rather than remaining static. That surely has much to do with why your music is so great.

I 1st heard you when you were at the West Portal festival in San Francisco about 15 years ago. I fell in love with your music instantly. I bought 3 of your cd's which unfortunately got lost after about a year. I remember talking to you about how you played all the instruments & was just blown away. I couldn't remember the names of the albums, just that one had something to do with the moon. after hearing this I know that I can replace at least one of them. thank you for your BEAUTIFUL music!!

Donbos Recorder I too was wondering about Aryeh’s harp. A 36 string but curious about which wood it is made from. This duet is simply exquisite! Leaves me longing to hear it over and over, and Lisa’s harp blends in beautifully. I don’t think there is another duet done more beautifully than this one.
