it's actually clear plastic behind the blue cover thought it might be for back of iphone but there is no cutout for the camera lens so I'm puzzled what it;s for I've watch a few utube video's none of these say what it's for either

I have not done for the spd 30 so not too sure. Find out by download the spd30 manual from online. You mite find out.

Hi no i didn't keep it on. I tried putting it on there but the finger print unlock didn't work so i took it off

No it doesn't bother me because the sides are curved so the glass screen protector obviously wouldn't bend and stick. There not much gap for it to damage the side of the screen. I used a protective case as well so its fully covered. Case i use is made by supcase a clear one, check it out on amazon. Its got a clear rubber all the way round and a clear back screen so you can still show off the back of the apple iphone 6 plus.

If the screen protector covered the screen thoroughly then cases wouldn't fit the phone the way that they are supposed to. I've watch a couple of videos where people have purchase the edge to edge screen protector, but when they applied the case the screen protector (tempered glass) came up.

I had few problems as well but I managed to solve it by carefully reading again and again online how to configure it. I managed to setup it up at the end. Keeping trying.
