I don’t think it’s a good idea because polish remover has emulsified oil in it. Gel polish does not like polish remover

I just realised I could use this method to stop my nail growing in to the side. I lost my whole toenail a few years back when the pedal came off my bike & I havent been able to grow it properly as its been growing back mishapen & one side is growing into the skin so I have to cut it right back, but each time I do, by the time it starts growing back, the side wall is growing & pushing it furtherback (towards the cuticle) forcing me to cut it shorter & shorter to the point that iI can only grow it a third of the way now, so I believe this will help it grow out. Thank you so much!

By using a clear gel, you alsohas less chance of a reaction because the wet gel is only in contact with your skin for a brief period & you KNOW the clear will cure through much more quickly, & thoroughly.

If this works for me (I have tonnes of foils but haven't used them because I could never get them to workhow I wanted), I will name my next child after you!😂 Genius & theway you can stretch them for a better fit with this method❤ DISCLAIMER: I don't have children & at 46, prob never will, but if I did... lol

Sooooooo… when I’m doing my toes (for about 3-4 yrs now) I tend to get a wee bit of polygel/acrylic on my skin and when I do it ITCHES like crazy!!! Does that mean I’m allergic to it? Can i use nail polish remover to remove poly gel?

It will suffoucate the outgrowing nail and can cause infection, so don’t do that. It was my doctor who told me that.

There should be prosthetic nails like prosthetic ear, tooth or something. With all the cosmetic surgery available it’s a shame they haven’t put any effort into it

i’m a little confused at the last part? what are you using as glue? just another type of gel? you just have to cure the gel to your toe? how does that work as a glue?
