Though I lived down the road from Waitomo, never had explored the cave. Being a Maori owned piece of land the land was confiscated by the crown for their own use.

That’s just appalling to see people’s disrespect and leaving there crap/garbage behind, but not surprising.

Wow, im surprised more people don’t get hurt too on that ladder. Maybe they do and they just don’t talk about it. That’s crazy steep, but you did it!

I love going to the Ren faire each year, I dress as a pirate captain and my gf dresses as my buccaneer wife, we troll people every year and I almost get thrown out every year because theres a lot of guys who take it too seriously and make the ren faire their entire aesthetic. The girls are always dolls though, never any complaints with them! The mid-late 20s guys though are pathetic 99% of the time, I myself am 23 and love grinding them up when I go to the faire!

I have loved your videos of Te Waipounamu (the South Island). It is my home and, surprisingly, it is possible to forget how blessed we are who live here and how beautiful our home is. Thank you so much for reminding me and bringing me to tears again as I watched your wonderfully presented impressions of my home ❤

Strictly speaking Porto is the 4th biggest city in Portugal by population. 1st) Lisbon 2nd) Sintra 3rd) Vila Nova de Gaia (here may lie the reason for the confusion. Gaia belongs to the district of Porto) 4th) Porto Waiting for the Tripeiros to launch their attack in 1, 2, 3...

I came over to New Jersey from Portugal in 1966. I applaud you and your family for researching your roots! Im sure you've seen the other messages to look into church records if you can locate a local parish, its probably the best archives! But remember, your roots are multi branching, your history is in Portugal, Brazil, and the US. All equally important! The more information you gather, the richer you become!

Hello! Love your videos :) the Bolinho de Bacalhau is not seafood, its codefish and you didnt saw how beautiful Parque da Cidade is, its a pitty :) you were just close to the parking lot. You should have walked up north from there around 5m and you would have seen forests, an amazing small village in the corner, two huge Lakes, plenty of animals :)
