I love to hear this song without the tubas blasting it to hell. At the most beautiful part of the song it just sounds like a bunch of farts.

I think this has to be one of their hardest shows just by looking at it, like wow! It definitely throws drum corps sound and skill. Like this has to be one of their best shows. I’m a huge drum corps fan and this is on drum corps level and that’s a high level. Amazing! And I love how like dramatic it is and how it kind of has some pirates of the Caribbean music as well. Love this show. 👍👍

Goddamn we sounded way better back then. Now we have too many trumpets, the saxophones are out of tune, the trombones can't play, the mallet section is mostly pretentious assholes, and the drums are constantly doing cringe shit.😂

Dude i was one of the saxophones and my hat was too large. It caused me to be a good 15 seconds late on the horns down on Learn To Fly

Man this is giving me flashbacks. I belive i was a freshman that year. I was a trumpet player. There was so much work put into the shows and practices. Band was by far the best part of school for me.😊

So many great brass licks woven into the arrangements. Nice job from the group from north Alabama as usual. I would definitely lump JSU in with the likes of North Texas and Western Carolina. So much more emotional than any of the SEC bands including those from the state of Alabama. Such a great band tradition at JSU. I marched alongside some of those guys and girls in the Spirit of Atlanta during the 1980 season. Thanks for sharing this.
