Thank you for the all 3 videos. Could you explain what are those two max. Lift coefficients and their differences? I think one of them is "clean" configuration which includes no weapons, but I do not have an idea what the other one is.

Hello sir, may I know where all those equations were taken from and how they were derived? Thank you, I truly appreciate it.

Hi! Thanks for the question. I highly recommend the text by Gudmundsson. All of the equations in the video are presented in Chapter 3. educate.elsevier.com/book/details/9780128184653

Dear Sir, first of all thank you so much for uploading this video and the way you explained is phenomenal, I’m doing my project on the understanding of climate change on future aircraft loads means to find changes in the gust load/acceleration. My Question is if the pressure, density and temperature changes with the change in climate in future can we use the same concept just by assuming these values and predict through this V-N graph that is change happen or not on gust load on the aircraft? Please Sir kindly reply me it will help me a lot and if you can suggest me something extra I would be grateful to you. Regards, Sajjad Master students Queens Belfast

I'm not sure I fully understand your question. The method for calculating gust loads, including the gust velocities and alleviation factors, are prescribed by the aviation regulations. As far as investigating the effects of climate change on aircraft loads, perhaps the increase in energy in the atmosphere would give reason for regulators to modify the gust velocity standards that are to be used (perhaps gust velocities will increase or decrease?). It would be interesting to know the statistics on high-gust conditions experienced by commercial aircraft over the last several decades.

I recommend the textbook by F. White (Mc-Graw Hill) or R.C. Hibbeler (Pearson) or B. Munson et. al. (Wiley). All have their strengths. You can find these texts pretty easily online. Another text that is freely available is called Basics of Fluid Mechanics by Genick Bar-Meir (highly recommend): open.umn.edu/opentextbooks/textbooks/85

Sir, this video helped me alot. I'm a student finishing my masters degree and for my thesis I'm doing aerodynamic design of an aircraft. Is there any possibility for us to get in contact? Keep up the good work. I can't wait for a new video 🎉🎉 🎉

Hi, that's great! You can look up my contact information on Carleton University's website, I'd be happy to help if I can.
