I salute your granny who can still speak Hainanese.By the way ,I have eaten the chicken blood in the 70s in Singapore before it was banned for consumption.Whenever I was in Yaowarat,I love to eat pig blood and chicken blood which I missed in Singapore.For your info,I love to eat chicken rice with freshly grind ginger without mixing with chicken oil and with high grade black soya sauce added to the ginger.
