You shouldn’t leave your pool outside for the winter that pool pump should be brought inside for the winter that says somewhere the intex instruction manual what mainly says instruction manual the pump must be dried and stored for the winter not left out during the winter than that video $145 plus shipping so at least probably around like $200 to purchase that motor from Intex corp I bring my pool pumps indoors for the winter that I bring them out 40 spring and summer I’m just letting you know that will last a lot longer and sound quieter if you bring that inside and leave it out guess that filter is a 16 inch so that is $145 plus shipping. Intex is not free shipping. You can’t buy that motor on, Amazon don’t sell it there. You had to buy it from the company website at least $145 for the motor back in the 2015 motor used to cause $104. It had mechanical timer now it’s $145 and assault units pretty much like 300 just for the motor that is expensive replacing Intex motor for $145 each year I’m not being mean I’m not yelling at you I like your set up in your for your pool while I’m saying for the pump is if you bring that thing inside what Intex says and bring it outside that thing gonna last a long time last pretty much five years that’s a lifespan for those machines five years you might even least that thing i’m not being mean, I just don’t want you to be in a situation I was been in. I had a pool pump that went out during the middle of summer. I had to hook up a cartridge filter pump that was least I got because one milder pump when I the previous owner did not took good care of that unit. They probably left it outsideand broke the middle of summer something to let you know I love your videos and I love your content. Please take better care of the pump or your next pump and you were gonna think me later.

I leave the pool up year round and full with at tarp over it to keep leaves out. I run the pump untill it gets 40° day and night. Then i turn off the valves and drain the pump and sand filter. I leave the oump and sand filter out year round. Have not had any issues in 4 years. I do plan on upgrading my pump to a 1.5 hp pump next year.

I used to own a pump like that. It was a salt unit. It was EC 15110-2 I don’t own that unit anymore. It broke and how did it broke the GFCI inside it and malfunction the internals so made the unit useless it stopped working. I was middle of vacuuming my pool. it was a best way pool I upgrade to an Intex pool with a saltwater system. I have a 12 inch sand filter in a 3/4 hp pump. The original pump came with. It broke looking for a new pump. I also used to Aunt sand filter pump I have a 2500 per cartridge folders system they use for different applications When I turned on that pump, this is a .5 hp pump wasn’t the Intex pump was the awkward guard nothing happened. The motor did not made a sound. And sorry for the mixup words Siri is not the smartest person over Google for Apple iPhones so you might get some mixed up words and did that pump ever made a humming noise because had bad bad bearings and I know for a fact that thing got locked up and some people say that is overload protection that does not have it so if you kept it locked up that unit will catch on fire. If you put it inside like say sealed container it will catch on fire. It needs more air cooling over a Pantera flow pump, those units can be hardwired to a center drain in the pool a center drain will definitely work. Do you take your pool down under winter or do you leave it up during the winter? I just wanna know what you do if your pool during the winter do you take it down or leave it up there I take mine down during the winter cause it’s small, do you leave the pump outside or bring it in the house? Bestway recommend to bring the pump into the house and filter it last longer. The Intex sand pump I recommend will be the Intex SF 15110 Intex sf20110 and Intex sf10110. I can’t add pictures to it on KZbin comments, so I’ll make a video of it and send you the link so you can see what those models actually look like if you any videos you can feel free to watch my videos. I do reviews and stuff I do a lot of pool drains, and also pool drain covers
