Unpacking the self sounds good in theory, but speaking for myself (about my self ) I sincerely believe that if I choose to do that, I need to first do it with myself. I dont necessarily know or understand what all may be in there. There may be things that need to stay in the damned box, and I want to know what they are before I RIP it open in front of the world like a kid at Christmas. The “present” inside might not be as attractive as the wrapping led me to believe. Furthermore, I would like the chance to find and at least attempt to solve my problems for myself rather than endure some hate-storm of criticisms from possibly well-meaning but otherwise unknowledgable people listing all the things i SHOULD or MUST do to make myself into THEIR vision of the perfect human being. I just want a heads-up is all I'm saying.

In terms of financial, not all of us can provide but surely we can help them through prayers. I prayed that they will recover in this situation. We could also help them by giving some of our pe-loved clothes. It's a good help also to share information about where to donate and such.

Help can be sent in various ways. May it be through material things, information sharing, or through prayers. I, as a citizen who is lucky enough to not be extremely affected by the disaster, have done all of these. Some people might not know about this but there is a small community in Facebook (as well as other social media platforms) that I am a part of. Several people, including me, have decided to make fundraising and sell services. The money that we collect are being sent to legitimate G-cash accounts. Our religious institution also sends help to calamity victims with the use of our donations and deliberate contributions. Also, I help in spreading legit information that I receive. The action that I aim to take place might not be executed quickly, but the fact that I did my best to orient those who are capable is relieving. Lastly, the most powerful help that people with religion trust-prayers. Spending few minutes to pray for their safety is already helpful. If we do not have the capability to help them materially, to ask for their safety and protection is more than enough. Cagayan and other areas in the Philippines need our help. I can help even in my small and different way, today I gather some of my used clothes and pick those which can still be use and also prepared basic goods such as sardines and noodles. In this time of calamity and uncertainty, we Filipinos really portray the spirits of caring and giving. And as a simple and concern citizen, I can say that my greatest contribution to the victims of the typhoon is being the voice to spread the good news. Though we’re not that capable enough to give and donate financially or in-kind to the victims, with the use of social media, we could be instruments in promoting awareness like in gathering people who has the good heart to donate something for our fellow brothers and sisters. We can send our sincerest care to the victims by reaching out with people to help one by one and hand to hand. And I will spread my voice and encourage others to awakens the superhero living in themselves by posting motivating and positive things online. We should understand every situation and be mindful of what posts are more essential in this time of crisis. After all, we are not lacking empathy, but we are lacking understanding.

Nowadays we experienced lots of trials in our lives like super typhoon, earthquakes, forest fires, landslides and many more. Imagine if we plant 2 or more trees every house, that will greatly lessen these problems that we experienced nowadays. We had these high technology gadgets and yet we don't know how to use it correctly. Sharing info can help people who are in need but the government must put effort in this situations because as we can see they are not prepared and they are selfish. They are full of words but no actions. I am encouraging everyone that has the power to help do whatever you can do, big or small things will do. Let us help on another.

We can help by sharing information about the evacuation centers and information about where to send monetary donations and drop off points for goods. I have donated a small monetary donation to my friend in Isabela so she can buy the preferred goods for the victims of Ulysses. I hope that even if it is a small amount, it can somehow help. Being far from those provinces, I can help by sending money online to those legitimate authorized accounts. Even by giving a little amount, I think that it will be a small part on helping our fellow Filipinos to recover from the tragedy.

Pasabay is buying from online sellers and instead of shipping the item or meeting up in a particular place, there's this thing called "dropping" the item in the dropping area. I will make use this trend to donate my used but still presentable clothes for the victims of typhoon Ulysses.

So as an aspiring teacher, I should establish self knowledge of the code of ethics as early as now and abide by the rules set for profession to set an example to the students and other stakeholder and influence colleagues to act as what the code of ethics dictates and expects to a professional. Thus, to be a fair and trustworthy teacher to the diverse students someday.
