Hello. First of all, I want to congratulate you all in the great video, enjoyed it very much. I've been travelling the world after big game fish from the rocks. Japan is yet a place that I want to go to. You guys are growing as fisherman from the rocks. But there are many things you can improve and correct in the technique and how you fight a big fish, especially with the gear you use and have access too! Greater Amberjacks and GTs are very particular in the way they fight and have very particular ways to be fought too. They won't forgive a single mistake made. In most of my regular trips, I target big big greater amberjacks from the rocks in some Portuguese islands in the Atlantic, big kingfish in New Zealand and GTs in Australia. A lot of times I use the same gear, Ripple Fisher Runner Exceed 100SHH Limited and 100SXH, with 14000 and 18000 saltiga 2020. With the gear you were using, (I know you would have lost the GT because it was foul hooked) you could've easily crank up the drag or almost lock up in that fish and put him the brakes, stop his run a lot faster and muscle him to the rocks! That rod has a lot of muscle to give!!! ;) Keep posting nice videos, I love to see the rocky shore from Japan and crave to go there on an expedition. Cheers from Portugal, Pedro

thank you! This is my first time facing a large fish! It didn't go the way I expected. That's a strong fish Once you get used to it, try power fighting!
