I recommend the Zehn Compensator muzzle over the Jak BFB muzzle now. So if you cannot unlock the Jak BFB give the Zehn a try.

I unlocked the jak when it first came out and still cant use it. The only class i can use it on is on my ARs so they still havent fixed it. I have also unlocked every single aftermarket part through challenges and only 3 work at this time. Instead of fixing the problem, they just add events so people dont get pissed. I miss the good ol days when we had a great campaign worth playing and multiplayer was it. Blackout was a great addition and they shouldve built on it, but instead we got boring warzone that has almost no reason to play. Instead of having to build your gun from parts you find, people get their loadouts and sit in a corner. Also when they started doing cross platform play we got all the computer hackers that they still to this day havent addressed. This will be my last cod, after 21 years of playing and buying cod, im done.

Just found out how to get it, you have to press options and on the first tab go onto armory unlocks. When on there you need to find the jak bfb attachment and complete 8 daily challenges. Once you have done the 8 daily challenges you should have the jak bfb available to equip. Hope this helps

anyone found a solution??? i can use it on my ars and battle riffles but its still locked on my other guns… makes no sense… all these updates u would think they would fix all these bugs

Yeah no, the JAK BFB has a bug, that they know of. It's this: Those that have NOT Unlocked the JAK BFB during Battle Pass 1, are locked out of it for almost every gun. ALMOST every gun. See when u do the daily challenges to force unlock it. It will unlock but only for the specific gun you choose to activate the daily unlock task with, and the specific type it is shared with. [if you didnt pick and it auto qued and unlocked it that way it going to be the last random gun you had in your hands at the moment of unlocking it. (sounds confusing? it is, let me explain) The JAK BFB file that the devs use has slightly altererd copy's with identical name. So the JAK BFB on your Sniper rifle is not nearly the same JAK BFB as the one on your SMG. (thats where the fairy tale of "there are 2 JAK BFB" comes from. This is False. Yet and make no mistake. IT SHOULD BE UNLOCKED FOR ALL GUNS REGARDLESS. This error is so gross and it's well in season 2 still true. They released a patch recently, claiming to have fixed the issue. But this is untrue. Oh and BTW if you bought weapons with Reduced Cooldown Timers like the Dark Rituals III bundle for example, the Reduced Cooldown timer (WHICH WE PAID FOR IF U BOUGHT THE BUNDLE) Does simply not work. Make no mistake they are fucking the customer while looking them in the eyes. They know they fucked up but they are not planning on fixing anything any time soon. PLEASE PIN

So i never unlocked the battlepass jak. I was one hipfire away and didnt get it in time. My buddies did and have them attached to all their guns, ar, smg etc. I unlocked mine through the 8 daily challeneges and from what i understand it only works on ar and light machines guns (same ammo type). I think to be able to put them on every gun, you had to unlock the battle pass one and the 8 daily challenges. My teamates are able to put them on any gun because they unlocked both. I hope this helps because ifelt the same after unlocking it. Its actually better used on ar and light machine guns, i mean smgs are close range and sniper rifles dont really need them because of the damage nerf. The real advantage however is the ping when shooting, it stays longer on radar but theres no arrow showing what level in a building or ground you are, so thats kind of good.
