Since both the Kobo Libra Color Pen and the Metapen 2 are the exact same hardware, in theory it would be possible to flash the Metapen with the Kobo firmware to invert the tip and the eraser function. Now the question is just where to get the firmware from...

I think you can also do this in the developer settings. There are a few great videos here on it. NOTE: I do not currently have the device, but I’m pretty sure I saw this on a video about it❤

For those looking for a kobo pen alternative, any pen that works with the Microsoft Pen Protocol will work for the Kobo. The most popular alternatives seem to be this Metapen M2 and the Renaisser 520 or 520c.

Does the body of the reader have regular hard plastic or is it a soft-touch material? I have it in my cart but haven’t purchased because I’m hoping it uses a regular hard plastic material. Thanks for sharing!

From what I've gathered from the dozens of videos I watched, it's a "slippery" texture plastic as opposed to the softer Kindle texture. I've seen multiple people say it causes writing with the stylus to take some getting used to.

Puedes anotar libros aunque sean descargados por calibre es que yo no compro los libros por kobo y me preocupa que no pueda dibujar o anotar si el libro no es comprado por la plataforma

Si se puede! La mayoría de mis libros los he pasado al Kobo con Calibre! Solo asegurarte de tener el plugin que convierte a Kepub. Se puede anotar en los libros perfectamente 💓💓💓💓

I like the clear case for at home use, but prefer the “notebook sleepcover” for on the go because it holds the stylus inside!

Can you show please the brightness on 0? Does the screen look grainy?

If you specifically look at the screen looking for the “grainy feel” of the color display, you will see it. Brightness on 0 is definitely darker than other e-readers. But both are things that don’t bother me at all in my regular use of the Libra Colour. Battery life has lasted me almost a month with adjusting the brightness as needed to compensate for the darker screen. ✨

Yes I did! On Canva! The size of the document is the same size recommended for making screensavers for the Kobo Libra. I added all book covers for the TBR on Canva too! Then exported the PDF to the Kobo!

@@elesalesperance4889 I created it on Canva using the Kobo resolution for sizing (same size people share for the screensaver tutorials), then I just added the PDF to the Kobo. The TBR is my list of books I want to read, I added the covers to the book journal on Canva as well. ✨

I love mine too. Everyone is complaining that the screen isn't as bright as the regular libra. not a huge deal. just turn the brightness up a tad more.

I love darker screens because I have astigmatism. Regular paper is not bright, for me it's just like reading on a piece of paper. No eye strain like most bright colored devices. I just love my KLC. ❤❤❤
