All the equipment for those kinds of plants and infrastructure need fossil fuels to be created. Not exactly as green as they try to make it out to be. THINK PEOPLE!!!!

Yea to create them, not to run them. When creating a power planet like geothermal or even nuclear, significantly less carbon is released compared to using a fossil fuel power planet. Not to mention that geothermal power is completely devoid of any risk and is infinite. That means we essentially get free electricity given how easy they are to setup. It seems like you're the one who needs to do some thinking buddy boy.

Wind turbines are straight trash. Interview a chemical engineer that works with the polymers used to develop theses pieces of shit. Then talk to a hazmat specialist to know how much shit is leeched into the environment. After that talk to the concrete boys that have to anchor these giant monstrosities. Ask them how much diesel and oil is used to achieve it. Then ask the wind turbine maintenance people how much oil they have to change every year in those puppies to ensure the turbines stay properly lubricated. What happens to that oil? What about the longevity of the wind turbine, and where does it go once it reaches the end of its service life? Wind energy is NOT the direction we should be taking for renewable energy. It comes at way to large of a cost. Too many forever chemicals are created in the process. Too much crude oil is still needed to get the things running. They don't have the operational longevity either. There are way better options. Don't support wind energy. Find a better way!

@@mikeclement5383 How would microplastics ruin rock 10 kilometers down? Microplastics are gonna exist, and geothermal is probably the best energy source bar nuclear, that is consistent and doesn't spew pollution. We could wipe ourselves from the planet but somehow i don't think that'll happen.

You need a lot of water to cool the engine otherwise it will melt the components 😂❤😢

I was under the impression that a nuclear engine would not require a liquid propellent, especially hydrogen which is notoriously difficult to store..

I love how he said incentivize consumers to use less energy in the evening. Translation, time of use hyperinflation of rates during the high demand hours. The solution is simple. All new and existing solar systems must have batteries installed. It’s pretty simple.

I wonder if someone could convince them to build this on the exhaust of the power plant. Cheap and easy carbon credits, plus they'd have to buy less fuel.

Yeah and it doesn't seem to matter, you can get new windows in northern Michigan, and they will repair your roof if you live in northern Michigan, but if you live in the Metro Detroit area, they won't help you with Windows or your roofing, in fact they won't weatherize your house at all if you have a roof problem in the Metro Detroit area, but that's different up north, and it doesn't make sense to me, My house is supposed to get weatherization, but I don't know how that's going to work when I need new doors and new windows.
