I thought that Dvořak 6 symphony is similar to his serenade for strings. The last movement mostly. Serenade for strings was written in 1875 before Brahms 2 symphony in 1877...So question is whether Dvořak was inspired by Dvořak, or by Brahms or maybe both. But serenade for strings is not symphony so Symphony number 6 is related to Brahms. But I am not musician.
