This track is "Cosmic Aloneness" in a nutshell. The universe is stupid big and stupid empty. The empty parts are also very, very cold and dark. Basically outside of our little dumb planet, the universe is a quadrillion times more dark and empty and lonely than you could possibly imagine. Enough to make a human insane. That is this track.

I met my future wife when I was playing mass effect. She was in the USA on a foreign visa, she sounded just like Tali and her name is "Natalia" so I guess you could say I got to romance her in real life lol then I had kids and no more time to play mass effect :( tho i did beat the trilolgy... and now I'm playing the legendary edition. It brings back memories :)

Oh sure when Shepard convinces Saren to kill himself it's "diplomatic" and "Paragon" but when I do it it's a "felony" and "sociopathic tendencies".

My only problem with the Tali romance is the age gap. It is safe to assume that Tali is barely 18-20 tops whereas Shepard has to be in his mid 30s, I don’t care how good you are, reaching the rank of Commander takes time.
