Can someone please explain this one to me? I've seen this a few times and don't really know about who it is or where it came from. First I thought it was about Rey, but now it's Ellie? Someone please fill me in.

Having played TLOU2, I’ve seen that she’s a character who’s gone through a lot of hardship and such (I’m very much summarizing rn). The point of the meme is that some day someone posted on Twitter “name a character that went through more pain than her, I’ll wait.” The user just wanted to emphasize that they think Ellie’s hardship is far more intense than any other fictional character’s. If you wanna know more about Ellie’s story, read up or watch some lore, because it’s a really well constructed story and I wouldn’t be doing it justice. I just thought I’d contribute by sharing characters that I equally find have gone through very tough trials. (Obviously I have some jokes within the video, as I’m not taking it all seriously). But in general, Ellie has very well gone through a lot, but you can really say that for a lot of characters in fiction. It’s just a meme that people use to talk about characters they deem to be well written. All of it stems from some Twitter post a few years back.

Sunny from Omori.(MASSIVE OMORI SPOILERS AHEAD‼️‼️‼️) This kid was only 12 when he accidentally killed his sister, out of fear he straight up staged her suicide with his best friend, pure guilt consumed and desensitized him for 3 years straight, he completely isolated himself, in the true ending he ended up losing an eye and very possibly lost all his friends, moved away, and is left alone again after reuniting for the first time in 3 years.

I was literally in tears at Iggy’s death… I grew up with dogs my entire life so seeing that scene made me wanna bawl my eyes out and I made sure to love up my dogs more the week after I saw that scene. It was that impactful.

ah, animal cruelty. cornerstone of shonen manga/anime imagine if they didnt had animals or anthro characters to kill and destroy to make human characters look stronger or for cheap drama.... tropes.
