Well there’s a few "The Mousetrap" performances on KZbin but this is the best one. The cast all bring something nourishing to the table; Mattie Mecham as Mollie stands out, and everybody’s character is believable - it all just rolls along nicely. As a Brit there’s probably nit-picky pronunciation points one could mention, but they’d be so trifling as to just be unnecessary carping: these students really dived into it and kept the thing buoyant and forward-moving. The character-tracking camerawork is also top notch, with crisp mid-shots that show performer’s expressions: often theatre productions will see this as an afterthought and use a locked-off master shot that’s too far away. Great lighting, clear audio: *Hercules Porridge* himself would be proud of these details… Great to know schools in America are doing this kind of thing, and striving for professionalism. *Bravo*

My best compliments to Mattie Mecham, in the role of Mollie Ralston: she was perfect. Her acting was remarkable and she is absolutely beautiful and delightful.

As someone who has played the role of Sergeant Trotter this kid‘s interpretation is really intense. Wish I would’ve done it that way.

Excellent production, especially the detective! It may have been sad for them to perform with no audience, but with no audience you can really hear everything clearly. A small detail but I can’t get over how expensive all the shoes are!
