Youve inspired me to plan a van build with that extending bathroom idea- line it with waterproofed caulked board and a rubber wiper seal , and itd be ideal for fitting a shower cubical with cassette toilet feeding into a greywater tsnk under the van

Any idea why no one is doing a pop top for the crafter without the bed, same as the T6 has, I have the low roof version and would love a pop top so i can walk around upright, no need for a bed up there, just want it to have more head room and feel light and airy

I think the hot water, first thing in the morning issue, is easerly overcome with either a AC kettle or filling a thermos after the nights cooking. I think if space & noise are a factor then the Wallace wins handsdown. Good video. Thanks 🤗

What’s the weight and estimated cost of this van please?

Can the kitchen be on a slider so can cook with the door open and move the seating area behind the driver seat.. as there is a pop up there will not be a space for an exhaust.. ( to remove the smells and condensation)

I've just had one of these completed and couldn't be happier. Firstly they found and fixed a couple of issues I was unaware of. Do you have a part of a video ir a diagram that shows what to do? I have laid under it and cannot see what the AA man said he could . Also this is not James, its his wife ( me) trying to deal with this ( Im sure he would have known what to do but he is away for a while).

Apparently the brake pipe on my T6 has been rubbing against the water tank, worn a hole through and the foot brake doesnt work. I need to mend this.

Great vid, don't have a van at the moment, but have hired a Cali on a couple of occasions and a van is in my not too distant future. Couple of things, under the roof bed the wooden slats are on show, do you have an option to cover those? Is the diesel hob night heater as efficient as a webasto blown air unit? Finally Transporter HQ do an after market chair carrier which fixes to the rear door, would that be an option? Cheers (Loving the vans, especially the Full Type Approval)

It’s going to be interesting to see how the T7 is received as VW has been a very popular vehicle for many years. Has anyone got any ideas about the engines that will be fitted. I believe the current ford diesel that is referred to as “wet belt” seem to have a bad reputation.
