Great analysis. FYI - last year, multiple 3 loss teams finished in the top 12. It’s very possible that a 3 loss team makes the playoffs this year.
@PFFCFB12 минут бұрын
Appreciate you! Those 3-loss teams were in the final Top-12, but not the top-12 when the playoff would’ve been announced. Last year’s playoff would’ve been made up of only 2-loss teams. Certainly a chance a 3-loss Big Ten team gets in over a 2-loss ACC/B12, but not a certainty

With or without Raiola… huskers win 8 games. Huskers should be seven and oh and ranked in the top 10 when they go to Ohio State Oscars should and will dominate Colorado in week two… They dominated the buffs on both sides of the line last year. the difference this year is they have a QB… And a defense that will close the door on Colorado. Expectations should be 9 to 11 wins.

This is a season preview based on flawed analytics and predictions from people who don't watch college football. Tennessee's defense isn't close as good to Georgia's, however the Vols D-Line is considered one of the best in the nation. Vols defense avg 23 and 21 points the last two years seasons.

Nebraska will have a great season.. I laugh at those saying nothing to do in Lincoln/Omaha 40 minute drive from each other Omaha & Lincoln surrounding area is close to 3 million. When lived there everyone from California to Texas always wanted to meet there. Between the two, bigger then many college football cities I've traveled with more to do. I'd have to drive a hour, find parking/then walk most stadiums.

The WRs we lost were trash. Hudson Card was under direst because the Oline was so beat up last year so he didn’t have time to get a pass off. The WRs they bring in are quick and long and should be light years ahead of the hold overs from Jeff Brohm and company. The Defense in year 2 should take a big jump. Coach Walter’s defense depends on lock down corners and they got a couple matches with one of the best safeties in the country. Purdue is going to exceed expectations and make a bowl game and upset either ND or Oregon at home.

There’s depth now and 4 and 5 star guys all over the line this year. Other spots filled in with Veteran guys from the portal. Can’t speak much on our skill players yet on offense because they will have to prove themselves. But both lines of scrimmage will be 100 times better.

The good news for the Michigan offense is that the elite defenses around the country are built to slow down the air raid offenses. And Michigan's elite rushing and its blocking schemes travel very well. Orgi is as elite of a runner as Milroe and Sherrone and company will scheme the talent and make them hell to keep from moving the chains. The offensive woes are not what the self-proclaimed experts are claiming them to be.

It's an all senior or Jr. Line up on the defensive line and they are all 4 & 5 stars. Then the secondary though younger is much more athletic. The Defense will be much better and with Nico Tennessee will be 11-1 or 10-2, and will make the playoffs.

RB room may be slightly better. in the best case scenario maybe the offense is 10% better with the defense being 20% worse. give me oregon, georgia, OSU, bama, and ole miss over texASS
@firghteningtruth71733 күн бұрын
Yeah, you clearly aren't biased at all. 😂 We are going to be better because we brought in 2 dbs that will start and mohammed is in his 2nd year. He will start. What we lost at DT is huge, but the guys behind were already giving similar snaps in relief. We filled gaps too with zonas dts. On offense we brought in Bamas TE to replace ours. We brought in 3 experienced wrs, and had 3 from 2 years ago, including cook fighting for time. We brought in a frosh that is turning heads and getting acclaim as good or better than worthy in Wingo. There aren't many more gaps. Except, at RB, our starter for last season (injured 1st game) is back, along with blue. We brought in 3 talented edges. 1 who is probably gonna go in the 1st round we transferred in from utsa. We didn't actually have quality edges last year. Our interior DL was just that good. So, better dbs, about the same at lb, better edges, a small step back at dt if any...our best db (nickel) returns. Then our OL gets more talented, though less experienced. Our TE is a better athlete. (though we have others behind that kept pace with JT last year) We have a proven replacement if Ewers goes down. And if he doesn't he should have more consistency. He is playing for a spot in the nfl and the kids issues have never been talent, just between the ears. At rb, as good or better. I don't understand your critique at all, except you havent followed.

Coaching upgrades can't be understated. LSU didn't even have a dl coach last year and the cb coach was a high school guy. Baker took a less talented Mizzo defense from 100+ to 32. LSU is stacked at Edge LB and should be good a safety. This defense will be much improved.
