god i wish this had maybe a cast recording.. or a proshot.. i think i have a thing for shows that are about peter pan but not exactly. i mean i’ve watched peter and the starcatcher (the 2012 play with christian borle) and now this, finding neverland (with jeremy jordan).. or maybe i have a thing for borle and jordan.. 😭 anyways, i love the set i love the songs i love the actors (the child actors!!!) i love everything!! i might go into a peter pan deep dive later on, because surprisingly, i haven’t read the og book yet!

Like, I don't even need an officially recorded soundtrack, just post all the songs like you did with 'Stronger', ART, PLEASE! I combed through the bootleg and cut out all the songs to listen to on a playlist. My tolerence to low quality audio has gone way up because of this musical. But PLEASE ART STRONGER WAS SO GOOD GIVE US THE REST OF THE SONGS! I KNOW YOU HAVE THEM DON'T LIE TO ME-

I absolutely LOVE this musical. But ima ruin some people’s views(just as I ruined mine) Peter actually never liked Barrie. He absolutely HATED sharing the same name as the “terrible masterpiece”. He later ended his own life. Have a great day!!

it's so sad how they changed that choreography on broadway... it lost all the charm and innocence of the fantasies and jokes and imagination that had so much to do with the theme of the show

i never saw it on broadway, i was too bitter about how they did jeremy jordan wrong. years later, looking back at how terrible the broadway show became based on what everyone has told me, i think it was a blessing in disguise for jeremy that they went with matt instead.

@@xoxo-nj6mf actually you are right. but there is always the feeling that Jeremy would have put his soul into it and improved the project. just for what he's already done building this character from scratch, on off broadway. I wonder what it would have been like with broadway money. because visually, it was beautiful. even in the bootlegs and videos here dontoutube you can see that the show was beautiful, but it underwent many changes and lost its soul. Anyway... but you're still right. I think the same.

Hi, I'm struggling with that part too and English isn't my first language, but they say something like "keep my faith and behold how our wings ______, to find where we belong is all that matters". At first I thought it was "how our wings are unfold" but it's not and I think isn't correct grammatically. If you figure it out or have the rest of the lyrics, please share it, I only have the first half and other bits here and there.

Wow, this is pure gold because I think there aren't many videos with this ending and It's so beautiful and perfect as a reprise cause it follows the part that Sylvia sings about her children. I like the other finale as well and now I'm kinda torn between the two, I wish this finale was in the soundtrack too.

This is my favorite song from Finding Neverland. Jeremy Jordan is an amazing talented actor/singer. His vocal range is incredible. The story of Peter Pan, the movie Hook, the music and play Finding Neverland… has meant so much to me (what it’s about and what it stands for). It also reminds me of my Grandpa (who knew I loved those stories)… when ever I was upset, sad, or needed a moment to myself to calm down…he would say “Close your eyes and go to Neverland.” My Grandpa passed away in 2006 but he lives on in me and all the great memories (like that one).

He was the original JM Barrie for the show. Morisson was brought in later, since the director wanted to hitch of off the popularity of glee for the Broadway production. Many fans didn't agree, though.

@@lizvdp8066 also i think Matthew Morrison was the JM Barrie in the o.g. workshop. Also i have nothing against Matthew Morrison but Jeremy is SOOO MUCH BETTER in this specific role.

@@MusicalTheaterGeek24601 I've honestly haven't found a straight answer to that and I haven't found a clear source. There are also pictures for both in workshop, so maybe they both did a workshop at separate times. There are indeed more pictures with Matthew, though. And yeah, totally agree. I really have nothing against Matthew Morrison, but the role of JM Barrie fits Jeremy Jordan way better. He clearly cared more too, as Morrison was on holiday for most of his Broadway run, while Jeremy barely missed any of his shows.

Ok, I don't know why, but that little "Mmmhmm" Jeremy does after Sylvia asks James to help her inside (after he realizes how sick she is) kills me every time. Both Jeremy and Laura did such a good job with that scene.
