Ok folks...please tell me (without derision please) why the following interpretation doesn't apply. Tanakh morality 1. On one hand: do not onto others as you wouldn't want them to do onto you. Does this not impart the highest of moral compasses to follow? These are the questions that come to mind as I read the Tanakh, and I am truly hoping for a most rational apologetic such as to settle the question, and not providing such with equal temper and consideration will only serve to weigh in favor of such interpretation.
